Tim Formaz, in conjunction with Alset Power Company, is the manager of an extremely capable group of independent disparate power contractors with diverse skill sets. These core companies and partners have worked together on various power projects over the years and continue to work together worldwide building and relocating electrical power plants. Under the direction of Mr. Formaz, these individual companies will be brought in, as needed, to work with a large cadre of indigenous contractors and personnel. Each project undertaken is accessed according to its geographical location and logistics in order to assemble the logical participants. A partial list of these companies is as follows:
Turbine Power, Inc., USA
Energoremont Holding JSC, Bulgaria
E.C.C s.r.l., Cremona, Italy
Allenborough Energy Corp, Kansas, USA
Global Marine and Power LLC, Louisiana, USA
Inyathi Power Projects, South Africa
Vasti Power, Toronto, Canada
TDG Energia s.r.l., Pontremoli, Italy
These extremely capable independent disparate groups have and do work together worldwide building electrical power plants. Depending upon the particular project being constructed, an individual company will take the lead as the overall Manager of the project. Individual companies will be brought in, as needed, to work with a large cadre of indigenous contractors and personnel. Mr. Tim Formaz is normally the Manager on this team of indigenous contractors.
Operations and Maintenance (O&M) is normally handled and organized by Tim Formaz in ventures with world renowned companies that specialize in O&M. Companies like The Power Consult Group and Ethos, a division of Siemens, are the normal choices. When Ethos (Siemens) rebuilds the equipment it is possible to obtain a new “zero hour warranty” with each rebuild, just like a brand new piece of equipment. O&M includes all the normal day-to- day supervision of an operating plant and the periodic service requirements like changing filters, lubricants, rebuilding stacks, etc. In addition, O&M includes the periodic total rebuilds of turbines that occur every 4 to 6 years. In the great scheme of things O&M is a very small cost item, but extremely important.
